Unfortunately, due to market conditions and a tough fundraising environment, we are sunsetting Voura and shutting down the app.

Building the first investment product specifically designed to reward investors was a journey I will never forget. Our mission was a valiant one but it was sadly the wrong time for a big innovation like Voura in the consumer investing space.

What does this mean for me?

We have removed the ability to deposit new money in the app and have cancelled all recurring deposits. If you have a direct deposit set up, please change it to another banking institution as soon as possible.

On April 15th, we will be liquidating and closing all open Voura accounts. You may withdraw as much as you'd like (up to your available balance) before that time and may manually liquidate and close your account in the Profile section of the app if all your funds have been in your account for at least 30 days.

When your account is liquidated and closed, all remaining funds in the account will be returned to your connected bank account. To ensure your funds are returned to you in a timely manner, please make sure you have an active, connected bank account in the app.

This was the last email I ever wanted to write. Voura was my passion for the last 2 years and I am very disappointed to see it close down. Thank you all for supporting us on our mission to reward everyone for investing for the future. Best of luck on your wealth building journey ahead.
